When it comes to WOW, the Renaissance Hotel in the heart of Amsterdam knows exactly what we mean. It is for good reason that this luxury 5-star hotel is in the top 25 best hotels in Northern Europe. It will undoubtedly leave many visitors in awe. Especially if you are lucky enough to enter the adjacent dome church from the 17th century. An event location that can hold as much as 700 people! It was our honor to provide this special dome church with colorful lighting.
DECORATIVE LIGHTING
Decorative lighting that can be adjusted to your wishes. That was what the Renaissance Hotel envisioned, and what we made possible. It is now possible for the hotel to offer customers an environment that suits their taste. Any requirements? Yes, the age-old appearance of the church could not go to waste. That is why we worked closely with Color Kinetics, a signify brand, to ensure the ambience of the church was not lost.
PLAYFULL EFFECTS AND SIMPLE CONTROL
Previously the Renaissance hotel was required to rent equipment for every event, but the decision was made to have the lighting permanently present. No problem! We worked with Color Kinetics fixtures to match church’s unique ambiance. The effects that the innovative LED spotlights give to the room are colorful, powerful, dynamic and above all WOW! Something that emphasizes the one-of-a-kind character of the location. Livingprojects has developed an LCD control panel that allows customer to easily control the lighting themselves.
PROTECTED MONUMENT
Because the dome church is a protected monument, it was not allowed to drill holes in the walls for the installation of the fixtures. That is why we have securely attached all fixtures and wiring using special glue. We also call that: add WOW.
